Michael Newland at age 3, started his racing career on his Big Wheel, racing up and down the street.  He graduated to Quarter Midgets at age 5, and after his first year of competition he received 4 different series Rookie of the Year awards, he was hooked. During the next 10 years he raced in numerous classes and won many championships.  His greatest achievement was winning the Grand Nationals in Pueblo, Colorado. After that, Michael continued racing a couple of more years and added more championships to his name, for a total of over 500 events with 90% going to 1^st to 5^th place finishes and over 150 1^st place finishes.  He is now pursuing a racing career in full size cars.

Michael is a 20 year old local talent born and raised in Roseville, California, where you can find him on Saturday nights in the Modified class out at the All American Speedway.
